The detail in this trio is quite incredible. The inside of the cup and the fascias of the two plates are adorned with pretty flowers and gold scroll, the fluted edges are also painted in gold.

 

And then there is also a detailed relief on the china itself making the white outside of the cup and the edges of the two plates very subtely patterned. 

 

Also, the shape of the cup and the handle are really unusual making it all in all a pleasure to behold!

 

I think the reason why it is such a unique and exquisite piece is because it was actually made in Germany by Paul Muller for Hutschenreulher.

 

The plate has a diameter of 21cms.
