Norwegian Blue Teapot Set

A most unusual and delightful teapot set.

The colour of the glaze is a sort of silvery blue and it makes for a striking contrast with the gold lustre trim and detail.

The set comprises of a teapot (medium sized, holds about two/three mugs of tea, six cups), a jug and a sugar bowl.

Made by Gibson in England.

As the pictures show it is beautiful, though slightly worn in places. Unfortunately there is a chip on the underside of the teapot spout( see picture)  which unless you turn it upside down you wouldn't notice it was there. Incidentally, we hadn't spotted it until it came to photgraphing it and at this point we decided that someone would love it, even if a little impaired in a it's old age.
