‘Rose Gold Trend’
Rose Gold has been around since the 19th century and has been in and out of fashion ever since. However, there has been a massive increase in demand for the tone since early 2012 when it was being featured in jewellery. Then in 2014 Micheal Kors introduced the colour into their range, increasing the popularity growth even more. But some say with the release of the iPhone 6s in 2015, Rose Gold has gone from strength to strength. Many predicted that it would be a short-lived trend but its seems it’s still a very popular choice by the consumer.

As reported by Marie Claire's digital fashion editor Penny Goldstone, millennials have held on to pink because it photographs well in posts on social media, ”It's all about matching everything. So on Instagram you'll have people posting a picture where they're drinking a glass of rosé while sitting on a pink lounger, wearing a vintage pink 50s swimsuit.”
