The countdown is on for the Royal Wedding of the year.
On Saturday 19th May Prince Harry marries Meghan Markle at St George’s Chapel in the grounds of Windsor Castle. With just weeks away the happy couple are taking charge of the planning, which is designed to incorporate both families, their wide circle of friends, and welcome the public into their lives.
The invitations, made using American ink on English card and printed by Barnard and Westwood, have been sent to 600 guests. They reveal that the dress code for guests attending the ceremony is uniform, morning coat or lounge suit, or day dress with a hat.
No news on the dress yet, but there are lots of designers in contention for the coveted role. Victoria Beckham, Burberry, Ralph & Russo and Jenny Packman to name but a few.
London-based florist Philippa Craddock has been announced to provide the wedding flowers and arrangements and she will be using "branches of beech, birch and hornbeam, along with white garden roses, peonies and foxgloves”.
With all of the excitement swirling around we decided we wanted to be a part of it too. We toyed with sending a guest book but decided in the end to send a photo album to privately store all of their cherished wedding photos. We have printed a medium sized Muted Shades Wedding Album in Ivory with Soft Copper foil and sent it to the official address along with a handcrafted card made by tjdesignsuk. Fingers crossed they will use it!
