When will my order arrive?
This depends on two things a) if we have your book made up already in the printing workshop b) if we can print your book with the brass letters we have, or if we have to make a printing block.
If you’ve ordered a book that we have here in the printing workshop (and we do try and keep a lot of stock of the most popular colours and sizes) and the printing is in the bottom right hand corner then we are good to go and your order will be dispatched in 24 hours!
If you’ve ordered an unusual combination eg. a yellow linen guest book with three different fonts printed in the upper middle of the book, then it will probably take 5-7 days to dispatch
All our orders are sent out via a Royal Mail 2-3 days tracked business post unless you’ve asked for express delivery and in that case it will be 1-2 days.

I need my order really quickly, what do I do?
The best bet is to go to our LAST MINUTE collection as all these books can be printed quickly and dispatched straightaway. With express delivery at the checkout there is a high chance you’ll get your book in 1-2 days. Again, send us an email (email@example.com) if you need help as we will happily give you a call
How will my order look when it arrives?
Every order we send out is beautifully tissue wrapped so that it is a treat to open. We also sell presentation boxes if you want to go the extra mile. We are constantly searching for the best packaging solution for every book as its a fine line between being wasteful with bubble wrap/paper/boxes etc. and exposing the book to damage in transit.
My order is a gift - will you send it directly for us with a gift note?
Of course! When you place your order send a gift message in the note section at the checkout and we will write it on to one of our BeGolden postcards, wrap the order beautifully and post it on its way!
How can I speak to someone?
If you email us your phone number then we will call you back. We are a small team and we divide our time between printing the books, wrapping/dispatching them and customer service - when we are printing then we can’t lose our concentration for a phone call so an email call request is the best solution!
How do I fix my photos into my album?
We use mounting squares as they are the easiest to handle. They are small double sided sticky squares that you place on to the back of the photo, and then press down on to the page to secure the photo in place. You usually need four per photo. You can also use photo corners, glue dots, pritt stick, wash tape, magic tape etc.
How many photos will fit into my album?
We get asked this all the time and it depends on so many factors: the size of the album; the size of the photos and the layout you’re going for. If you’ve got the large album and all your photos are landscape 6”x4” then with six side by side, three rows, each side of the page you can max out with 480 photos! Or in the A4 album you could get two portrait 6”x4” photos and one 7”x5” landscape per page. Each product has page measurements and photos to help you decide.
What pen do I need to write on the pages?
All our albums and photo guest books have 480gsm photoboard - this is super thick, acid free card that you can write on with a ball point pen, fountain pen, felt pen, roller ball. People do also use sharpies but the thick black nib can show through a bit on the other side.
The smallest guest book has 100gsm pages and can take all biros, roller balls, fine liner pens.
Can I change the amount of pages in the book?
I’m really sorry but this just isn’t possible - we have tried it and it’s just such a palaver. Also the book never looks right and then no-one’s happy!
Can I use my own font, or my own logo?
We will certainly give it a go! We have a large bank of fonts we can use so even if we don’t have the particular one you’re after then we can find one very similar. As for logos and artwork then send it over to us in an email ( pdf or eps - not a jpeg) and we’ll have a look. If it is too detailed or too dense then we’ll soon be able to let you know. There is an extra charge for logos/your own artwork as there is a considerable amount of extra work involved
Can I return my order if it’s not what I expected?
If your item hasn’t been personalised then yes, most certainly! However, if it has been printed with your details then we can’t accept it back as it has absolutely no resale value. Really sorry!
