How can I find the kind of guest book or album I'm looking for?
We know the choice can seem endless so let us help you whittle it down. Try using the website filters to narrow down the field by size, bookcloth, occasion, book type or colour if you're feeling spoilt for choice.
Why are there so many books to choose from?
In fact, we just have six different book sizes, each available in one of three book coverings, and from those six sizes we make everything on our website. The reason we have so many different choices usually lies in the font design used on each product.
If you've seen a book with font you love but you're not sure your wording would fit with the design, we can often adjust things to make it work for you. Just ping us an email our give us a call and we'll let you know what's possible.
What are your books and albums covered in?
We have three book coverings to choose from: recycled leather, linen and 'jewel' hardback. It's just a matter of personal preference as to what you go for - we have all of our different book sizes in each of these coverings.
Something to consider: the jewel and linen albums & books are hardback and open flat, while the recycled leather option comes in the widest range of colours and has a softer cover. The choice is yours!
What if I like a book that is listed for a different purpose than I want it for?
All our books and photo albums are completely plain inside, ready to be customised to suit your needs. So, if you like the look of a wedding book but want it for a colleague that's retiring, that's fine. With your personalised message, we'll turn it into the book that's perfect for you!
Do any of your albums come ready printed?
No, all our books and albums are completely bespoke. Our bookshelves are full of plain albums and books, all ready to be printed and personalised with your wording, then filled by you with whatever you choose.
What size photo album do I need?
We have six sizes to choose from - just head for our online Size Guide for details of each book's exact dimensions & how many photos will fit in each.
What's the difference between your books and your photo albums?
On the whole, they're exactly the same book with the same plain cream pages. However, there's one important difference: our photo albums have the traditional glassine interleaves in between each page to protect your photos. Both kinds of book can be written in if you so wish.
What sort of book should I buy or ask for as a wedding gift?
Simply put, ask yourself how you'd like the book to be used. If it's just for curating photos after the big day, go for a big and beautiful photo album, complete with glassine pages to protect all your pictures. If you'd like to use your book on the day, go for a guest book as the fragile glassine can get creased if people manhandle it!
Which of your guest books should I choose?
Here's the key difference between our guest books: our smallest guest books are ideal for collecting written messages and so are perfect as leaver's books, for retirement do's, at wedding receptions... you name it. But if you also want to be able to add in photos, menus, orders of services, go for our square or large landscape guest books. These have an expandable binder allowing them to safely hold whatever you stick in.
